Vorteile

Die intuitive Nutzbarkeit, die Übersichtlichkeit und die einfache Navigation macht es selbst Neueinsteigern leicht, sich zurechtzufinden.Die vielen Funktionen und Erweiterungen (z.B. Voting, Planning Poker, Stoppuhr, Präsentationsmodus) und Anbindungsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Jira) machen es mir als Workshopmoderator sehr einfach und helfen mir, meinen Kunden eine ideale remote Workshop-Erfahrung zu bieten.

Nachteile

Hin und wieder gibt es einige Bugs, bei mehreren hundert bis tausend Elementen wird die Ladezeit sehr hoch.

Vorteile

Sehr intuitives Tool für Workshops, Planungssessions und mehr! Stetig kommen weitere Tolle Funktionen wie z.B. neulich die Abstimmungsfunktion hinzu die auf elegante Art und Weise eingeführt und vorgestellt werden.

Nachteile

Für junge Startups wären zusätzliche Discount Programme wünschenswert.

In Betracht gezogene Alternativen

Vorteile

Mit Miro kann ich während eines Arbeitskreises die Ergebnisse sammeln und in geeignete Form bringen, sogar präsentieren. Mindmaps, Tabellen und co nutze ich dabei sehr gerne.

Nachteile

Bisher noch nichts wirklich negatives aufgefallen

Einfach zu bedienende ansprechende Oberfläche.

Mindmap Funktion ist nicht wirklich Leitungsfähig.

Vorteile

kollaboratives Arbeiten wird dank Miro stark vereinfacht. Die Bedienung ist trotz zahlreicher Funktionen intuitiv geblieben. Ich kann Miro uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Nachteile

Die Desktop-Version verlangt sehr oft nach Updates. Das ist manchmal etwas störend.

Vorteile

Live-Sync funktioniert fast Sekunden genau. Es gibt viele Integrationen und es ist allgemein sehr benutzerfreundlich und einfach zu bedienen.

Nachteile

Es gibt Funktionen die in anderen Tools deutlich besser gemacht sind. Es ist eher ein All-Rounder tool, wenn man etwas benötigt, was richtig gut für eine bestimmte Aufgabe wie z.B. Projektmanagement ist, sollte man eine spezifischeres Tool verwenden.

Die simpel gestaltene Oberfläche, einfache Bedienung und instllation

Fehlende Diagramme, Stifte und Formen, Vergleich hierzu ist Draw IO

Die Zusammenarbeit fällt in Videokonferenzen ganz leicht & bietet eine gute Übersicht

Am Anfang musste man sich mit der Bedienung anfreunden, bei mehreren Anwendungen funktioniert das ganze recht gut

Miro glänzt durch den guten live sync und die vielen Tools zur Darstellung von Prozessen.

Nachteile

Ich würde mir wünschen dass ich weitere Schriftarten in Miro benutzen kann, damit die visualisierungen der eigenen Brand-language entsprechen.

Mit Miro kann ich Gedanken sortieren und mit Kollegen denken.

Nachteile

DGSVO konform ist für meine Kunden extrem wichtig und Datensicherheit wird hier nicht garantiert.

Fördert die Zusammenarbeit insbesondere in sehr großen Teams.

Für komplett freue Gestaltung führt schnell zu Unübersichtlichkeit

Vorteile

Man kann sie intuitiv schnell benutzen. Passt gut um mit vielen Teilnehmern zusammen zu arbeiten. Wunderbar geeignet als ein Brainstorming-Tool.

Nachteile

Wenn man mit vielen Menschen zusammen arbeitet, ist es manchmal sehr schwer die richtige Arbeitsgruppe zu finden. Eine Aufteilung wäre sinnvoller, wie eine Art Breakdown-Rooms.

Vorteile

Using Miro to facilitate our projects has been so far our greatest achievement and we love it how we could use it easily any time we need to. Miro has tight security so no chances of loosing any project related file. It is very flexible and allowed us to set it up in our own way which we felt could make it more useful to us. Miro Gantt charts has been very reliable in scheduling our project work. Another thing we find useful is how it help us to connect and share files and information easily and securely. Plus, being able to track our project progress has been of huge importance to us.

Nachteile

Nothing in particular. Miro has been superb in what it does and we cannot complain literally about anything.

Vorteile

Miro is a robust product that brings together several functionalities under one roof and this is important for us as we are able to have a single tool for our work instead of having to jump from product to product. It offers the most amazing work visualization tools like diagrams and flowcharts which makes it easy to have clear virtual representation of our projects. The communication tools are very efficient and makes it possible to have a smooth flow of information when we are working together and collaborating on our projects.

Nachteile

It has a lot of features in it which makes a bit heavy to understand. Some learning is needed for beginners to get to understand how it works and which features to use for which needs.

Poor customer support & dishonesty. The change to Miro saw them stiff paid Premium users of Realtimeboard and not honour the remainder of their subscriptions

It's one of the best tools you may have for any kind of job or play because it's versatile, creative, and simple to use. It's great because it's easy to import content from other formats and platforms, you can work with an endless canvas, and your team can interact and collaborate in real time.

Nachteile

When I'm working on a project in my area, I rely heavily on journey maps and group brainstorming sessions. It's not simple for me to import data from other programs like Figma or Invision.

Vorteile

Miro's infinite space is really helpful for the research / audit parts of my projects. I am able to put so many links and notes onto the boards without getting bogged down with design. My background is in design so sometimes over-designing stops me from just flowing, but not on Miro. I love the way I can drop links onto the board and it shows the headline and key pic. I love the way I can see where teammates are on the board. I love all the items I can place onto the board like sticky notes, lines, arrows, charts, etc.

Nachteile

I wish I could turn on "invisible mode" or something so that I could browse the board without a teammate seeing that I'm on and without me seeing that they're on. This will take away the pressure of feeling like I am being watched while I work. I also wish there was a way to put the board in "low res" mode or something that would keep the board from getting so slow when it has so many links and stickies and such on it. Lastly, I find it confusing what team my boards are on or what team I've made or what account I'm logged into.

- It's very visual and that has an advantage in comparison with a simple task management tool (It's where we plan our quarter)- Collaboration across multiple teams (You can even add comments)- Different boards for different porpuses

The only thing that is lacking is when you are trying to write in a frame that someone already is working, you simply can't

Our company does not have a dedicated UI/UX designer, so the job of UI/UX design falls to our Product Managers. Tools like Figma are great, but there is a steep learning curve. Miro is our one-stop tool for UI/UX design and allows us to turn an idea from brainstorms to wireframes to high-fidelity designs.

Nachteile

Miro doesn't have a good undo feature. At times, I'll make big changes to a board by mistake and I'll be unable to undo the changes.

Vorteile

Miro is a great collaboration tool for whiteboarding and brainstorming. Easily put up stickers as a group on the board, save, collaborate and form your idea with a team. We even use it when the meetings are in-person, because you can then save it and continue in next session from where you left off, and not just online meetings.

Nachteile

I would like to be able to export the stickers, add attributes to them, to convert them to some structured data after the brainstorming is completed. But this is not always necessary for all regular brainstormings, so it is not a deal breaker.

It can be slow and laggy. This is especially true when you're working with large boards or when you have a lot of people collaborating on the same board. Also, the interface is a bit cluttered, and it can be hard to find the tools and features you need.

Limited Tag Management and Performance Issues

It was a great experience, and I've used him for both teaching and scheduling since I met him. Intuition and teamwork are at the heart of Miro's design. You may use it on any device without having to download any additional software or plugins. A fast learner who can quickly engage a diverse group of individuals.

Nachteile

The only drawback I can think of is that uploading material such as videos might take a while. In addition, the cost per license for a small business is considerable, although the free basic version is fairly comprehensive.

Vorteile

Miro is used in many ways in my organization, both internally and externally, and in a wide range of projects and interactions with stakeholders. We use the software for conceptualization and planning, charting the customer and partner journey, designing processes, and gathering user input. It's useful to be able to see ideas on a screen and work on them with a group of people all at once.

Nachteile

It may take a while to grant someone access to the board. Once or twice, someone we added to the board didn't immediately gain edit privileges, but I suspect this was due to a problem rather than a lack of features.

Vorteile

It is fairly easy. It runs well and usually has an understanding of what we are trying to accomplish. We often communicate with our personnel and concerned parties using Miro. Additionally, the frameworks built into the software assist organise meetings more quickly. In addition to allowing you to express your creativity, the vast selection of activity templates, marker colours, custom icons, voting, comments, CMS integration, and document collaboration enables you to run workshops successfully. With the diversity of tools and plugins it supports, Miro can assist you in expressing them. It is also straightforward enough so that you won't feel overwhelmed and can concentrate on your job.

Nachteile

The projects' lack of organisation is what I detest the most. The search is also not optimal as there is no hierarchy, tiers, folders, etc. The administrative dashboard and user organisation in Miro have also been a problem for me. Although the programme is typically simple to use, I have encountered difficulties navigating it when working with many Miro accounts. However, after showing teams the value of whiteboarding, they frequently become more receptive to it.
