I have been using Appflyer for 5+ years now and it was a bit overwhelming initially, but we became best friends since.
An awesome user experience and a powerful data hub and source of information that leads our way to making informative and much more valid decisions
Without Appsflyer for me as UA Lead - it would be as if we were driving a car blindfolded.
Vorteile
It has a very intuitive UI, technically works almost perfectly, has vast dimensions and metrics on disposal, custom dimensions, awesome direct support (Alyona needs to be mentioned here), and tech support.
Creative tool, especially AI feature.
Data clean room was also cool, even though we could not particularly utilize it (due to reasons on our end) but it shows good potential.
Nachteile
You need to log in every 24 hours (when logging in with a Google account)
Lack of possibility to create custom metrics (IPM, Ad profit, etc)
Cannot copy stuff directly from the custom dashboards (eg campaign name etc)
A lag in retrieving Ad revenue data from Ad Networks via API.

I would say good, but it can be better if the pricing is lowered

The Dashboard is easy, it's quite simple to implement and run CPE Campaigns
Nachteile
The Pricing cost 0.07$ per conversion is way too much, especially since I am getting charged for CPE, where the primary purpose is to gather active users that provide engagement. These days clicks/installs are insufficient, which is a report based on 5 Years of experience. I though I'll be charged when someone make conversion, I don't consider installing the app proper conversion, but when the user completes my action

Excellent attribution partner to boost your marketing campaigns.
I use AppsFlyer every day to optimize campaigns in paid channels, as well as to report weekly and monthly reports, retention analysis, among other things.
Vorteile
The ease with which the platform can be used, the integration with partners, detailed information, customization of dashboards, and customer support.
Nachteile
Be able to view more data from the dashboard without having to download a raw data report. For example, in the case of Apple Search ads, it would be convenient to see the attribution of events to keywords directly from the overview.

AppsFlyer excels in measurement and supports all app marketing activities. As an agency, we recommend our clients use AppsFlyer over any other mobile measurement partner (MMP) due to its user-friendly interface. Additionally, it simplifies the process for supply-side partners to incorporate new inventories into marketing budgets.

My overall experience with Appsflyer is fine I've used Appsflyer more then any tracking platform.
Vorteile
I like it's realtime analytics reports with smoothest tracking system. Which allow us to track all users behaviour and further in-app events.
Nachteile
Honestly, not much to say here but a bit time taking while integrating to new media source partners specially with that handshake update : (
But it is also + point as if the POV is advt. here.

I've been using Appsflyer for over 6 months and my initial impression is its complexity and difficulty of use. It might feel this way because I haven't used it extensively but I struggle with its dark theme and the extensive use of tabs. Compared to other MMP tools its additional features set it apart. However I believe the reporting section needs improvement. I can't always retrieve the data I want dynamically and simply.

I like most about Appsflyer’s OneLink. It optimizes mobile marketing by directing users to the right content on any platform, enhancing user experience, easing integration and management and boosting campaign performance. I

AppsFlyer is a great app tracker solution
Overall, I really like the tool and it is without any doubt my favorite among the options available.
In terms of pricing, I think AppsFlyer's costs are not very competitive. However, considering the quality of the tool, it still makes sense to use it.
We also have ongoing support from the account management team, so all our questions and needs are covered.
Vorteile
After working with three other app trackers, I can say that AppsFlyer has the most robust solution in terms of measurement, integrations, as well as data extraction, processing, and ingestion routines.
In addition, I really like the dashboards that the tool has, whether in the Activity or LTV view, AppsFlyer presents the results in the best way for decision-making, with the necessary granularity and separation between reengagement and acquisition.
Nachteile
AppsFlyer needs to improve its anti-fraud solutions to ensure the reliability of the traffic generated. I see that fraud is becoming more sophisticated every day and I don't see AppsFlyer's solutions becoming robust enough to ensure that fraudsters are blocked through validation rules.
In fact, I believe that more sophistication could be added to the process through the use of artificial intelligence.

As an app marketer, I've found AppsFlyer to be an invaluable tool for our mobile marketing efforts. The platform's reliable attribution capabilities have been integral in managing our app campaigns. We can accurately track app downloads and lead activations by channel, which has improved our ability to measure and optimize our marketing performance. It has easy API integration with our dashboards.
The proactive team at AppsFlyer has been exceptional in alerting us to potential fraudulent activities, allowing us to safeguard our marketing spend and maintain the integrity of our campaigns. This level of protection has given us confidence in our data and helped us make more informed decisions about our marketing strategies.

The proactive team at AppsFlyer has been exceptional in alerting us to potential fraudulent activities, allowing us to safeguard our marketing spend and maintain the integrity of our campaigns. However, in order to leverage further details about the fraud reports, the premium solution was quite costly and would have costed us more than the amount saved by charging back the fraud conversions. It would have been slightly profitable for us if we were able to purchase a one time or one month premium P360, however the team was not flexible on this matter. Other MMPs may have more affordable premium fraud protection.

Incredible software for app attribution and analytics
Overall, I have been satisfied with Appsflyer as it helps me analyse all the marketing channels and campaigns running across traditional channels and affiliates.It also flags fraud traffic and source of this fraud, hence letting us make better judgement for affiliate partners.Campaign optimisation, integrating ad partners, mapping in app events with these partners, funnel analysis, creation of custom dashboards are some of the frequently utilised features.
Vorteile
Appsflyer has used a vibrant colour scheme for their User Interface, through the means of interactive dashboards (overview and custom), it helps us in keeping a track of installs and other metrics flowing through various channels. Primarily, the overview dashboard gives a split between inorganic and organic traffic, and with a few clicks even other important data can be fetched quickly.
Nachteile
Just the fact that the software is super expensive and have to use it properly to justify the ROI.

Vorteile
Data visualization is certainly a plus in AppsFlyer. Once you're able to understand the difference across all the reports is easy to rapidly mine insights about traffic quality, deployment issues
Nachteile
It is very difficult to explain the difference between reports, I am aware that each one has a different purpose and data processing rules, but using LTV as a main data visualization has been a challenge since a lot of people tend to missunderstand the information shown in the graphics.
There is a time when the business is mature enough to start re-engagement campaigns, but, with AppsFlyer this next comes with a "double attribution" problem, since the re-targeting events are attributed both to the user accquisition campaign and retargeting campaing, this (quite often) leads the company been obligated to paid for the same event to more than one partner.

LTV is our primary (but not only metric) since understanding the LTV is the key to understanding the ROI on marketing initiatives and this the biggest challenge that our customers asked us to help with. So this is the default.
As for "double attribution" we have configurable postbacks and engagement windows which can be used to control attribution and postbacks for Acquisition and re-engagement campaigns.

Appsflyer: Mobile Marketing
I've been working with Mobile Marketing for over two years and I use Appsflyer every day in my work. I understand the accelerated growth of companies becoming mobile first, and that mobile ads are gaining more space in the market as a legitimate medium, but we often need to prove that we won't channelize or steal attributions from other channels, and I know how important a platform like Appsflyer is during this process.
The level of detail about traffic gives us the opportunity to make more strategic decisions, as well as the Protect 360 feature which is a great anti-fraud ally.
Vorteile
There are many features for measuring results, but the one I think is the most brilliant is Protect 360.
Nachteile
I think the price ends up being unaffordable for many companies.

-Great at reporting, simply extraordinary for apps.
-Does give you great real-time reporting and tracking.
-Easy to create analytics reports
-Excellent at campaign analysis
-The support is extraordinary
-Their integration is superb and helps a lot in having excellent multi-channel attribution and analytics
-The exclusion list from AppsFlyer is a great one for understanding our app users who came back to re-download
-Another one that we all love is how easy it is to flag any fraud affiliates
Nachteile
I simply love everything within Appsflyer but having said that there are some things where it does need improvements such as :
-Exporting feature which is not the best for reports.
-The P360 is not the best
-The user-interface is a bit difficult for starters to use
-Another one is having only one admin, which is an issue as sometimes one does need more than one admin due to new people joining the company and assigning roles is difficult for admin only.

If you take the tools existing today, Appsflyer win in most of the parameters
The tracking and integration level are good.
Link creation and UX is easy to understand and work with.
Nachteile
Xpend and data locker are in reading the payment highly and making it less worth if you need more data then the aggregated one.

Performance metrix review of Appsflyer
If I talk about Overall Experience, then I can say it's quite good experience with new platform like Appsflyer as it has alot of features which can make me knowledgable towards performance and advertising industry.
Vorteile
Its been a lot of things which i like in Appsflyer ,
1. We can check regular performance of our running campaign.
2. Can done regular optimization
3. Can import/export raw data to check complete performance of any campaigns.
Nachteile
There's very few things which i don't like in Appsflyer.
1. Some times click filtering issue occurs due to new updated things on Appsflyer which affect our daily campaigns.
2. no other things yet.

Appsflyer as my go to MMP Platform
I just love it. Frustrating because I know for myself that I am not that expert yet but same time exciting to learn from Elevate and Knowledgebase

I've been using Appsflyer for quite some time, since my days at Dynata. While I'm relatively new to the mobile world, I have experience with 3rd party S2S. What I appreciate about this platform is that setting up events on our platform is far easier compared to others. Additionally, generating reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity is convenient. Lastly, the support from AF is extremely helpful. Despite being a newbie, I've learned a lot thanks to their support. I also love their Knowledgebase and the free courses that help users get familiar with the platform.
Nachteile
I just got frustrated because I couldn't figure out some insights that I wanted to look at. It's probably not AF's fault, but more likely my lack of knowledge on how to operate it for now. I'm pretty sure the information I need is covered in the knowledge base and tutorials anyway.

The attribution model for Multitouch acquistion is very consistent and the impact on Paid Campaigns is positive. The extraction of the data for modeling and DATAVIZ is easy and has multiple options. Finally there is tons of documentation and tech support.

Very useful on everyday operations
Vorteile
The ability to see qualities of pIDs easily when checking for relevant sources and negotiating with them, and also the overall campaign dashboard.
I also like that they implemented the new feature that you can select multiple when holding down shift in the dashboard.
Nachteile
IDK if there is a feature for that which we just don't know about, because if it is - then it could save us a lot of time: checking each supply source separately in terms of quality, P360, and scale take a lot of time from our team.

In general terms, it is the most complete platform on the market. It offers all marketing solutions for mobile measurement of apps and games.

SKAN metrics cannot be added to the custom dashboard.
You cannot measure the performance of custom product pages in Apple Search Ads.
