Kudos is a cloud-based peer-to-peer employee recognition software for organizations with more than 100 employees. The platform gives organizations a high degree of customization around branding and the use of rewards. Other features include custom rewards, culture analytics and manager reporting, rewards catalog, leaderboards, birthdays and milestones, photo sharing, and more.
Recognition is the core of Kudos, with rewards being entirely optional. Users of Kudos send recognition to each other using direct messages, video messaging, or using existing communication channels like Slack or Teams. Many Kudos clients also choose to make use of its Culture Strategy team, which is dedicated to building tailored programs designed to further drive employee engagement.
Kudos integrates with many third-party applications like ADP, Workday, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint, Zendesk, LinkedIn and Okta. It comes with a mobile application for iOS and Android devices. The solution is available on a monthly subscription and support is provided via phone, online help desk and chat.

More customizing options for the pages feature, but not really a con. I've found a work around by creating custom graphics with my preferred images and fonts and uploading. Very easy to read on mobile phones which is so nice! This has become our company "go to" for resources such as our benefit program overview.
The program is incredibly user friendly and availability on all platforms: computer, mobile, Gmail build in, and more. We have employees with language barriers that can use the program with ease! The program has connected our company and solidified our core values of team. With hotels spread out our province, all the teams can come together to recognize, share best practices, and celebrate success. It has also helped me get to know our team and helps our ownership group stay involved with day to day news. One of the customer rep, from the beginning, has been incredibly helpful and efficient. Kudos Support help answer any questions I have so quickly and properly. Not to mention, I have given multiple improvement requests which have come through shortly after! Kudos truly cares and we feel valued... most importantly, our team feels valued having this incredible tool to recognize and communicate with each other. I would not hesitate to recommend Kudos to any other organization.

Very positive. I'm very confident that this tool will help us build a more positive culture and a new way to put focus on employee recognition.
It's structured like a social feed and very easy to use. Minimal training required and implementation and customization was very simple. Powerful tool for increasing employee engagement and building a culture of recognition.
I wish it supported GIF files and had a way to set up points activities that users could claim, but other than that it's great!

I love it, I use it everyday and recommend its use to everyone irrespective of your job level.
The structure and ease of use has allowed me to very easily recognize my peers , leaders and staff. The integrated dashboards also creates competitiveness which makes it even more fun.
The software needs to have some build in moderation to identify "fake" recognition's. An exceptional category gets selected with the contents saying thank you.

My overall experience with Kudos is a very good one. Not many cons to advise on and would highly recommend.
This software has been a great tool to recognise the teams hard work, reward them and keep track of their progress. As the company have a bonus incentive, this software is a great tool to help the team work towards their goals.
It does do what it is designed to do however maybe they could improve the user interface making it easier to use and navigate.

Kudos allows everyone on our team, no matter their role, to acknowledge, thank and honor the special people we work with in a public forum. Kudos are an easy way to do just a little bit extra for someone who you think when above and beyond on a project or task. Making it easy to reward our coworkers and team members has made it really easy to drive a culture of gratitude, and allows people to honor the slightly smaller but still very important quality efforts, those things that may not be Employee of the Month worthy, but are definitely worth recognizing. I love the degrees and gradations of rewards-- being able to give just a little Thanks-for-the-Hand, or a Seriously-You-Saved-The-Day kinds of praise. Kudos have definitely helped us promote a more positive culture in our organization.
I wish I got more points per month! 50 just isn't enough sometimes. I also wish the system was integrated in our Slack feed more readily or that the board where kudos are posted were more obvious. I like seeing who is being appreciated and standing out in the company, but I miss it because I just use the website version (and I am not signed in all the time).
